Winter Olympic Capital of 1968 — Grenoble
Grenoble is Department of the Isère Administrative Center. The city are placed into environment of the Alpine mountains on a crossing of Three Valleys. Grenoble — one of the big cities of France, scientific and university center of the French Alps.
It's remarkable that in Grenoble are combined modern quarters and architectural monuments of different epoch. On Grenoble streets it's pleasant to make walks, fresh mountain air and contemporary architecture pleasantly supplement each other.
The most important sight in Grenoble the rope-way to Bastille. I recommend to go in a monastery museum of Chartreuse, and in a little museum it's possible to buy of tasty and curative liquor (made by monks). The monastery for public is closed.
