The German society of motorists ADAC, for many years makes popular guidebooks (including on mounting skiing resorts), named the best centres of winter rest of Europe. Nominees were ranged on a set of criteria, so-called ADAC-SkipassIndex.

On a combination of these criteria experts choose optimum resorts on each of the Alpine countries.
The best mounting skiing resort recognises a zone of driving Matterhorn Ski Paradise, Austrian valley Oetztal and the French Three valleys.

By the best family mounting skiing resorts are recognised Stubaital (Austria), Swiss Villars Les Diablerets, and also Kronplatz, Plan de Corones.
